When playing for Oakland, Mark McGwire hit a Randy Johnson 99mph fastball off of the Texaco sign in the Kingdome in Seattle. It had to go 500 feet, but the crazy part was it only took a vary small amount of time to go that distance. Some say it was still rising when it hit the sign. I want to see the footage. Let me know if anyone remembers this hit by McGwire.
