A social problem is a condition or issue that affects a large number of people in a society, such as poverty or unemployment. A social evil, on the other hand, refers to a deeply ingrained societal issue that is seen as morally wrong, such as corruption or discrimination. Social evils are often more entrenched and pervasive than social problems.
