You need to make a Punnet Square

Put A and a on top and B and B on the left side. These represent the possible gametes.

Your results should be:

AB

AB

Ba (aB)

Ba (aB)

So 50% of the genotype have the A allele.

Are there more girls or more boys in the world?

There are more males in the world. The ratio as of 2011 is 984 females for every 1000 males. According to the CIA World Factbook, the 2013 estimate of total world population ratios is 1.01 male to every 1.0 female. The world's population is weighted more toward the male gender. At birth, 1.07 males for each female. The gender ratio changes to .781 males for each female aged 65 and older. Generally there are more boys born than girls since the former have higher mortality rates and shorter lifespans. As a result overall there are more boys than girls however some generations and counties have changes to this generalisation ==================================================================== There will always be more human male fetuses conceived than female fetuses. The chromosomes determining sex are called the X and Y chromosome and a boy has an XY pair and a girl is XX. In the gametes, the Ovum always has an X chromosome while the sperm can have either and X or a Y. Thus the sex of the baby is determined by the genetic content of the male sperm. As the Y chromosome is smaller and less heavy than the X (it is lacking a leg), statistically a sperm containing a Y chromosome can swim faster than a heavier sperm containing an X chromosome. Thus the Y's are more likely to get to the ovum first. Thus slightly more boys are made than girls. However in the population, once born, boys are more likely to die in childhood and they do not live as long as women. Thus when you look are the balance of the sexes in old age, there are many, many more women than men.
