Every day, gang members kill other gang members even in their gang. They do this if the gang member has not made enough money from selling drugs, or for a reason i dont know about. On average, the gang leader will kill often by knife, a quick silent way to do business, and will kill around 3 times a month using this tactic. By gun, the murder average has almost tripled from december 12, 2011, to present day. The murder count by gun to be exact, is around 7,345 only in the U.S. Around the world, counting the chinese gang Yakuza, russian mafia, rio drug lords, all of them, the average is 56,261 murders every year by gun.

There was one incident in the 90s a girl whose cousin was in a gang was offered a ride by 3 guys in the gang her cousin was in. She agreed to take the ride. Minuets later they were at a stop light and 4 rival gang members were turning up the street in their car. they stopped when they saw the gang and started arguing with them. Then they pulled out guns and they shot the gang member in the back seat and the girl. they both died and the gang member in the passenger seat was rushed to the hospital. It's also possible for rival gangs to offer rides to people they know are related to gang members and then kill them. They offer the person a ride and the person will say no and in order to lure you in the car they will say they are in the gang. So these kids are naive and will get in the vehicles and they end up getting killed.
