Examples of acquired traits can be your shoe size, if you are flexible, if your right or left thumb is located on top of your hand when you do a formation( not if your right or left handed, that is inquired) or if you can do a Vulcan hand( it's like a gap between your index and The ring finger).

Acquired traits are characteristics that individuals develop during their lifetime. These may include skills learned through practice, scars from injuries, or changes in muscle size from exercise. Other examples could be tanning of the skin from sun exposure or calluses forming on the hands from manual labor.

What is acquired traits?

Acquired traits are those characteristics of an organism that develop during life as a result of injury, illness or other life process. In contrast, a congenital trait is one that is present at birth, such as lameness due to a bone that did not develop properly.

Does inheritance of acquired characteristics express the concept of natural selection?

No. Natural selection is the differential reproductive success of varying inherited traits. Acquired traits do little to affect the inheritance of traits, except through epigenetics.

Why are required traits not directly related to the process of evolution?

Acquired traits. Because evolution is the change in allele frequency over time in a population of organisms and acquired traits, such as muscles built by working out, can not be inherited genetically ( by alleles ) so are not " hard " inheritance. Some things like methylation of genes are passed epigenetically, but this does not quite qualify as acquired traits.
