There has never been a documented case of a person dying from merely ingesting LSD, there have been, however, cases where people have caused harm to themselves because LSD lowers your awareness of common dangers. It should be noted that you can ingest enough LSD to cause you phsical harm. However, you would to have to ingest such a large amount that it is considered non-toxic. ibuprofen is considered more hazardous to your health.
0 People die from direct use of LSD. LSD is actually one of the few drugs that does NOT cause physical harm, it is metabolized in your body and is gone before the effects have worn off.
There are a few exceptions though and people have died, but it's not being able to handle the mental state that LSD brings and can cause people to put themselves into physical danger (Examples: Walking in front of a train, car, trying to pet a lion, etc) that causes the deaths. If you're going to do LSD, stay in a nice room with nothing that can potentially scare you, and keep a "sober sitter" with you in case you think you may not be able to handle it.

Smoked weed, dropped LSD, had free sex, hung out. Not much else.
OBVIOUSLY THEY TOOK DRUGS!! Psychedelic drugs like LSD were one of the essentials of hippies. It helped them open their minds and see what was truly wrong with the world. Without LSD hippies may not have been as big of a counter culture as they were. Another big drug hippies took was marijuana. Weed helped them relax and was a very peaceful, nonviolent drug which they could take more readily that Acid because acid has a high and quick tolerance rate so if you took it every day you wouldn't feel the same effects. As for drinking, most hippies did not drink a lot and not hard liquor. They thought it would lead to violence as well as harmful to the body. However some did drink beer. As for other drugs, others were taken like heroin and cocaine although not as much as LSD and Pot. Those were the two biggest influential drugs of the hippie era.
There are no statistics. If there were, they would be a random @ss guess. Addiction can range from a person addicted to coffee to a fat kid and his cookies. The most common form of addiction is Psychological, meaning it's nothing more then your will power. Physical addiction is only associated with certain drugs. For example: Nicotine, alcohol, opiates (Painkillers like Oxycontin vicodine etc...) Heroine, Anti anxiety/ sleep aids (Xanax, abilafy, Valium etc...) Drugs like Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines. Are all (Possibly) psychologically addicting, so it is no worse then a person addicted to his morning fix of coffee, although some drugs don't even cause psychological addiction like mushrooms, LSD, DMT, Salvia D. Even Marijuana is commonly non-Habit forming. As I said before, psychological addiction is all in your head and varies person to person. Some guy may find plucking his eyelashes more addicting then snorting cocaine.
The sexual revolution of the 1960s and 70s largely affected the way American society is now. In the 1960s something called "free love" came about, deeming young people as hippies. The Hippies preached that the beauty of sex and love was a form of art. Thus this lead the way for more pre-marital sex, and a higher rate of teen pregnancies. New drugs such as LSD, were created and experimented with, causing the now war on drugs.

Essentaly, it is a memory of an LSD experience, however due to the mental effects of LSD, it causes the person to feel as though they are on LSD again. Typicaly Flashbacks only happen up to a year after the experience, some people report it long after.

You can easily be found LSD in places where people like psychedelic things.
There are no legitimate medical uses of LSD Many years ago researchers experimented with treating psychosis with LSD, but it only made symptoms worse.
LSD is a hallucinogen, its not addictive in ANY way or form. there are no after affects of LSD exept flashbacks (which just means youll see the floor moving for about 5 minutes everyday for a couple of weeks((not to mention about 1 out of 5 people get that)) therefore a rehab is not needed AT ALL for people taking LSD.
Some people claim milk lessens the effects of LSD, but this unproven. Even if milk did reduce the effects of LSD slightly, it certainly wouldn't end them completely.
LSD was used in medical trials and is experience a resurgence in research. It was never prescribed to people (i.e you could never go to a pharmacy and pick up LSD).
