Westinghouse owed him over 1 billion in 1900 era money. There was absolutely no way to repay Tesla for the debt that was owed at the time. Rather then perusing the issue, he burned the notes in front of Westinghouse.
He was friends with some very great people. Mark Twain is one such example. From what I can find, I don't see that Westinghouse and him ever fought, could you source that at all?

Was he crazy? Quite possibly. He certainly had some very unusual tendencies. It is assumed he had serious OCD issues. He brought his own silverware into the only place he would eat. This restaurant saved a certain place for him at the same exact time every night. He was often ridiculed for his bizarre comments. Great inventors can have personality issues also!
