The reason behind this is explained on Dallas (2012) S1e4; Elena explains to Rebecca that one day Pam just up and left Southfork for reasons unknown and without explanation and hasn't bothered to come back or to contact them, leaving behind her husband and son. So I assume after the fact, that Bobby probably annulled his marriage to Pam and then proceeded to remarry to Anne his current wife on the show, and as far as explanation goes, this is the only one offered by the show.
