Dan Blocker had a horse ranch just outside of Hemet, on the west end of the Valley. In the early Eighties, the property was partly unfenced, wide open dirt fields. There was a center-aisle horse barn of adobe, near the southwest corner of California Avenue and Tres Cerritos Avenue. The land is now covered by the Four Seasons housing tract, and the City of Hemet annexed that area.
