An unidentified 44 year old woman from the USA was admitted to a hospital on August 3rd, 2004 weighing at least 2,000 pounds but was estimated to weigh as much as 2,500 pounds. A crane and heavy flat bed truck were required to move her. Though her name was not released, one family member admitted that she had been gaining weight steadily for the past 10 years.
