Stress management can be easy. Deep breathing done right can be very effective. Think about nothing but your breathing. Breathe in slowly and deeply (pull the air down to the bottom of your lungs until you can breathe in no more), hold for 2 seconds and exhale even slower (take twice as long to exhale as it did to inhale). Do this at least 10 times and it is guaranteed to lower your stress levels.

Distraction is a wonderful stress reducer. Meditation, exercise, yoga, a walk, listening to calming music, participate in a hobby - essentially something you enjoy. Focus on the enjoyable task at hand and do not think about stressors (finances, troubled relationship, job situation...)

Two stress management methods are deep breathing exercises, which can help calm the nervous system and reduce stress levels, and practicing mindfulness, such as meditation or yoga, to increase awareness of thoughts and feelings in a non-judgmental way.
