A skill implies that it is something learned. Most people have to learn patience. I did. Patience is indeed a skill. Many people never seem to learn patience, but everyone can learn it if they try. Patience means being able to wait for something without getting upset or angry. Most people who are patient think about other things while they are waiting, or find something to occupy their minds instead of worrying.

Yes, patience can be considered a skill. It involves the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, to delay gratification, and to persevere through difficulties without becoming agitated. Developing patience can improve decision-making, problem-solving, and relationships with others.

What do you need to be a coach?

What I was told by an old boxing guy was; "patience, patience, and more patience." And of course extensive knowledge of a given sport as well as conditioning methods, but that's a given. Patience is important, because more than knowledge, more than motivation, athletes need to be instilled with a sense of patience when training, because improving in skill takes time. In other words a coache's patience needs to be infectious. [[User:67.148.120.72|67.148.120.72]]stardingo747
