Oh, honey, trees don't have birthday parties and play musical chairs. When one tree celebrates another year of standing tall, it doesn't go anywhere. It just keeps on photosynthesizing and being all tree-like in the same spot.

Oh, dude, when one tree has a birthday, they all just hang out in the forest, you know, like a big tree party or something. They don't really "go" anywhere, unless you count swaying in the wind as moving. So, yeah, they just stay put and keep on photosynthesizing like the cool plants they are.

What metaphor does Haemon use in 'Antigone'?

A stiff versus a flexible tree in a storm and a taut versus a slackened sail on a voyage are the metaphors that Haemon uses in "Antigone" by Sophocles (495 B.C.E. - 405 B.C.E.).Specifically, Theban Prince Haemon advises that one uncompromising opinion is insufficient to rule an entire city. He brings up the example of trees that survive a storm because their branches go with the flow. He also cites the example of a voyager who reaches a destination by adjusting the sail to environmental conditions.

The summary of the poem on killing a tree?

The poem itself is modelled as a plant growing from the seed. The first line states" It takes much time to kill a tree." Then the process of growth of the tree is described .It is presumed that the tree has grown from its seed. The seed develops the root. The root works its way through the rocks and stones of the soil. The tree grows slowly by feeding upon the earth's crust absorbing years of sunlight, air and water. There is a fight during the development of the tree which is suggested in the poem. The survival of the tree, inspite of the efforts to kill it,is shown by the lines: "And from close to the ground".
