When did Christine Daae die in Phantom of the Opera 2004?

It never states in any version of Phantom of the Opera that I've seen/read how or WHEN she dies. Assuming you were asking about the 2004 version of Phantom of the Opera, Christine most likely died of old age.

In the sequel, Love Never Dies, her (former) best friend, Meg Giry, accidently shoots her in some mad rampage as she dies in Phantom's arms in Coney Island and then the son of Christine and Raoul, who now doesn't love Christine and is an alcoholic who gambled his fortune away, Gustave, finds out Phantom is really his father.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but that wasn't made up, that's actually the ending of the sequel, Love Never Dies.

Love Never Dies is not based on the original novel's story-line, because in the end of the book Raoul, Christine, and Mama Valerius disappear out of Paris. Love Never Dies is a real musical, but it is not correctly a sequel. We dont know how Christine Daae died.
