A tube TV is a television set that uses a CRT for its picture dislay as compared to a digital light processor (DLP), LCD (liquid crystal display) or plasma sets.
It is also in my opinion, the most dependable of the TV's on the market and will remain so until today's manufacturers can build a more dependable TV using the newer technology.
Tube TV's may be down, but they're not out and shouldn't be discounted.
