- Hewlett-Packard developed HP-UX for their workstations and servers.
- IBM developed AIX, which supports a wide variety of platforms made by IBM.
Of those, only Solaris is open-source and can be used on hardware not developed by its respective computer manufacturer.
It is worthwhile to note that all of the above, except for the older Mac OS, are Unix derivatives.
