I would recommend 12+. The story line is pretty easy to understand but for younger children some scenes may be too scary.
That is an awesome musical. Watch it to see how many.
If I attend a Broadway musical, I might see lights that are the color that resembles the mood for the scene. I may also see curtains which open at the beginning of a show or are draped in the background part of a stage. Lastly, I may see costumes that fit the era of the setting of the play, along with costumes that match the mood of the scene.

The musical, "Edges," opens with the question, "Do I really wanna see?" The music, lyrics, and book are all credited to Justin Paul and Benj Pasek. It won the Jonathan Larson Award.
I don't see why not. His videos are totally appropriate for all ages. (:

I'd say not for kids under the age of 8 due to the whole stripping angle. Nothing is too explicit but I wouldn't encourage young kids to see it.
Any age from when they can see and walk to the end

in my opinion the youngest would be 10-13. it depends. for example if it's a teen summer program putting it on then i'd say yes to your questions, because i'm in Ragtime currently and we changed most of the "bad" words.
"Cats" is a great musical. The kids would love to see kitty cats dancing on stage and having a great time! But your child might get scared. And some adults too! The plot is very difficult to understand but it is quite enjoyable. Enjoy!
Yes. Cats can see ants.
Yes, cats can see humans.
Cats may scratch at mirrors due to territorial behavior, curiosity, or a desire to mark their scent. Mirrors can confuse cats as they see their reflection and may interpret it as another cat. This behavior is natural for cats and can be managed with appropriate scratching posts and toys.
