Davenant is supposed to have claimed so in a letter written in 1644. About this there are four possibilities:
1. There was no connection at all between Davenant and Shakespeare and he made the whole thing up.
2. Shakespeare actually was Davenant's illegitimate son.
3. Shakespeare was Davenant's godfather, so he was Shakespeare's son in this sense.
4. Shakespeare was Davenant's inspiration, so he was the son of his spirit in a kind of metaphorical sense. This is almost certainly what Samuel Butler meant when he said Davenant was Shakespeare's son.
Possibilities number three and four are the most likely. Number two is so unlikely that we can probably rule it out.
Sir William Davenant
There is no actual evidence that he had any at all. Some people have claimed that William Davenant was his illegitimate son, in which case Shakespeare must have had an affair with Davenant's mother. However, the evidence is equally consistent with Shakespeare being his godfather or his inspiration.
No, although he tried to claim that he was.
John Shakespeare, (William Shakespeare's father) was born in 1530.
Yes. "Guliemus" is Latin for "William". The translation of the whole thing means "William son of John Shakespeare". William's father was indeed John Shakespeare the Stratford glover.
Sir William Davenant
It is not written in history and is not specified. William Shakespeare's "lover" would probably be his wife, Anne Hathaway. They were married in 1582, and had 3 children, a daughter Susanna and twins Hamnet and Judith. It is rumored that Shakespeare had one illegitimate son, William Davenant, however other sources state that Shakespeare was merely Davenant's godfather. Davenant's mother was Jane Shepherd Davenant.
Not a legitimate one. William Davenant claimed to be Shakespeare's bastard son, but this was probably canny self-promotion on his part.
William Davenant died in 1668.
William Davenant was born in 1606.

He possibly did; in a recent documentary revealing his secret love affair to Ursula Wood years before they married after the death of his first wife, it emerged that she had become pregnant around that time and decided to have an abortion. According to Professor Byron Adams, "She very much wanted to believe that the child was Vaughan William's, but we don't know who's child it was".
