Without knowing the basics of your degree and your ultimate aim all I can say is - Generally most vocal music degree programs include the study of opera. Others include European vocal literature, vocal pedagogy, recitals etc. Singers can use their talents on the stage, also for commercial recording, broadcasting, in advertising, on the concert circuit, in clubs etc. Personally I think the next step is to gain practical experience - singing generally, stage craft etc.
