Well, honey, if you want to convince your mom to let you do beauty pageants, you better come correct with a solid argument. Explain how it can boost your confidence, help you develop new skills, and potentially open doors for scholarships or opportunities. But remember, at the end of the day, it's your mom's call, so be prepared for a yes, a no, or a "heck no, are you crazy?"
you can't do anything besides take no for an answer my mother wouldn't let me, she just said after your bat mitzvah but she knew i would have braces then. she told me she would get me a flipper but she knows my dad won't let me be in glitz pageants. sorry :-(
Child beauty pageants are NOT WRONG if you do not get too carried away. It's something fun a mom, or dad and their kid can do together. They are not bad, like everyone says they are. Kids love them because they think they look like little princesses! And they do, jueasy on the makeup and skimpy clothing and there is nothing you can complain about. And THAT is the truth about beauty pageants.
yeh they are....Yo momma's so ugly, just after she was born, her mother said "What a treasure!" and her father said "Yes, let's go bury it."
Ah, i see. If your mom was my mom, i would tell her the truth. I would tell her that i know she wants me to take ballet and be a ballerina, but what if ballet isn't really what I'm into? Tell her that you know she loves ballet, and that she wants me to take ballet and follow in her footsteps, but what if i don't like ballet. What if i like somethingelse like Softball, Soccer, or what ever you like (I'm speaking to the person who asked this question). I'm sure that she will understand. Just be honest with her. She might agree with you, and let you join another group/sport. Maybe even a club!! ~your welcome!! (i hope i helped you).
I really need to get a thong for the dance so my underwear doesn't show threw my dress...please help... the dance is in 11 days
Of course! I love you, MOM!
