The Nokia 5310 is a cell phone with a built in mp3 player. Because of this, it requires a memory card to store music files. These cards may be password protected and require unlocking after a system crash or upgrade. Insert a memory card into the slot on the bottom right corner of the phone and turn on the device. Using the phone's keypad enter the code to unlock the card that you selected the first time that you used the card. A text box will appear to tell you that the card is unlocked and free to use.
