Try to forget him, or at least carry on with your life and learn to live it without him, regardless of whether his new relationship lasts or not you need to forget him and move on, easier said than done am sure but you will not heal while thinking about him. *I don't want him back, but we have 2 kids together, and I have to see him all the time and hear about the girlfriend from the kids. I don't want the kids to not talk about her but it hurts to hear how she cleaned up their room and made them dinner. As for a timeline. I found out about the affair on Dec 12, 2007, he then asked for a divorce and they have been together ever since. They have live together and he introduced the kids to her in April. It's been 6 months and everything is happy happy happy for him. I don't know if I can take it if they are together "forever". He tells me our marriage was his journey to get to this point, to get to her.*
