I have liked this girl since 3rd grade. I became a good friend to her and today I finally asked her out. If I was you I would use my 5 step plan.
1. Make it so she is fine to be around you she does care.
2. Once you have got her used to being around you. You try to become a friend with her. Some times the friend zone is like a trap so do not become a really close friend to her but a decent one.
3. When you are decent friends with her start becoming friends with her friends. If they like you she is more likely to like you.
4. Once you are friends with her friends try to get a bit closer but do not hang out with her all the time. Make sure that you do not hang out with her a lot i can not stress this anuff. She may end up thinking you more of a friend than a boy friend.
5. Ask her out. It is not that hard. All you have to do it go up to her when she is alone (mainly because she may be pressured to say no when her friends are around) and say "Hey you wana go out."
