He's been divorced for approximately 3-4 months, this isn't a very long period of time for his young child to have adjusted to the thought of her parents not being together. If she has stated that she is opposed to the idea of her father bringing home a new girlfriend or even to him dating, that is perfectly normal and may go on for months or years. She may still hope for her parents to reunite and if you are introduced to her, she may view you as the enemy to her once happy family. It's even difficult for a lot of teens and adults to see their parents split up and begin dating other people.
As I said, 3-4 months doesn't seem like too long of a time since the divorce to expect the child to adjust. She has a lot going on right now, her family is different, her living situation is probably different, she may feel abandoned or unsupported even if both parents are active in her life. Giving her space to adjust to her new situation without introducing something else new (you) may be just the thing to get her through this period.
If her attitude toward her father dating continues for too long, he or her mother, may wish to take her to counseling but what is meant by "too long" is really the judgment of her parents.
