this isn't really an answer but i have been on bcp for 3 years now and i recently completely missed a period. i didn't stuff up any of my pills. i went to the doctor and he recons that its normal to miss a period while on the pill....but my period still hasn't returned. if u hav'nt already i recommend taking a hpt, if it shows up negative i think it would be a good idea to consider a pap smear? sorry if this is no help.

It is possible that what you thought was your period was either implantation bleed or light bleeding that can occur when the pregnancy hormones don't quite prevent some bleeding at the time your period is due.

From reading many other websites with this kind of question...i have read that it is normal to be a day or two late from your period. There are different factors that can contribute to a late period like nerves and stress and irregular cycles. Worrying about whether or not you're pregnant also puts stress on you so wait a couple days and then get a pregnancy test if it doesn't show up. I hope that helps some!
