You either have to go to the same school or nearby schools so you can still see each other sometimes. If you cannot and let's say your boyfriend is in another state or something then you can still be friends and call each other but it would be very difficult to maintain a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship because of the distance. Chances are when you go to a public school you will start to like other boys too. If your boyfriend would be too far away then you should still talk to him and be friends, but agree to see other people.
