You are 17 and on the pill you have been on it for almost 7 months but you still get 2 periods a month what can you do to help this?

I would go back to the doctor. You need to adjust your dosage of the pill or try a new one. There is no reason for you to have 2 periods a month and the pill should have stopped it so it isn't working correctly with your body.

It will change your periods but they will still be there but you will just have them at different times of the month.

I believe you can have a period twicw a month while on the shot. I believe the shot can upset your periods in many different ways. I have been off the shot for almost 10 yrs. now and still have a period every 2 weeks and my periods used to be like clockwork. I only took the shot for about 1 year. I don't trust the Depo Provera shot and would not do it.

Go to the doctor. Years ago I started my period at the beginning of summer and it wasn't until the end of summer that I finally told my doctor. For several months, I had to get a shot to start the period and another to stop it, so.. I had two shots every month for three months. After the third month, my periods returned to normal for a couple of months but following that I started getting my periods twice a year. It was a mess. Your periods will probably not stop on their own, you have to see your doctor because all that blood loss can lead to more severe problems.
