Yes, the app textplus was made for the iPod touch. If it is on the Appstore for Apple, IT WILL WORK ON AN IPOD TOUCH.
Yes, all iPhone and iPod Touch models use the same operating system, meaning the same software updates.
The copy and paste feature on an iPod Touch does work, but you have to have the 3.0 software or later.
There are a couple reasons for this. You either do not have the most updated software for your iPod Touch, or you have the 3.0 or 3.1 software and the app was not updated to work with that software.
Check the software you have. If you have software that is older than the latest version of the iPod Touch 2.0 software, that may be your problem. It might also be that the app you have doesn't work with the iPod Touch 3.0 software that you may have. If none of this is your problem, then it is the app. Re-download and install it for it to try to work.
You probably can somewhere, but you shouldn't NEED to. Unless you have jailbroken your Ipod Touch, viruses and malicous software will not run/work on the iPod Touch platform. Including e-mail attachments.
First, make sure that your software is up to date. If you have 3.0 or 3.1 software, it is because the app was not made to update and work with those softwares for the iPod Touch.
The first solution is to make sure you have an iPod Touch. Believe it or not, most people believe they can play an iPod Touch game on any iPod, when it can only be played on an iPod Touch or iPhone. After making sure you have an iPod touch, make sure your software is up to date. Some apps cannot be played because your software is too old or too new (the new 3.0 software has to be accommodated by many apps, and some did not accommadate the new software). If you've tried all of the above, then it may be the app itself. Try redownloading the app and see if that works. If even that doesn't work, then it may be a problem with the iPod itself.
The earbuds (or earphones) work with all iPod Touches. The voice memo app is only available to you if you buy (for $9.99) the iPod Touch 3.0 software on iTunes.
You touch it.
You should check to see if you are running the latest software. This happens when you are either running to late of a software, or in extremely rare cases, too new of a software (some apps do not work with 3.0 and 3.1 software). If this does not solve the problem, you must take it to an Apple Genius who can have a hands-on inspection of your iPod Touch.
If it doesn't work when you plug it in to your computer with a usb, bring it to an apple dealer.
I had the same problem and if you had lots of apps and none of them were working then i wouldn't restore it and i managed to fix it without restoring it. Simply download a free app from the app store and your done mine all worked!!! However, it mostly depends on the situation. Some apps do not work on the iPod Touch with the newest software that came out with the iPhone 3G S because some apps require updating, and use too old of a software format that doesn't work with the newest iPod Touch software. Unless the app is updated, it will never work.
