yes it will
No. I don't think so anyway. I'll try it for you.
the call divert number in BSNL for missed calls is 17010 Let me tell u the trick. the trick is that -- when u want to talk to someone dear and don't want anyone to disturb u or rather don't want anyone to know that ur phone is busy or engaged, u just need to do is before making the call activate this by going to call divert function and diverting all voice calls to the number 17010 and after its activated whoever calls u will get to hear that u r not reachable or are out of coverage area. this way u don't get caught and the best part being that u receive a sms stating which call u missed.
When a cell phone is turned on, its first task is to find out if it is within range of a cellphone tower. As indicated by the wee antenna symbol. At the antenna end, it in turn registers that you are within its call zone, and notifies this fact to a 'central call register'. When a distant subscriber dials your number, then their call can immediately be routed in your direction. Whether you are turned on, and where you are is available from the 'central' register.
You could tell the person on the phone that your going to put them on hold for a minute, then answer the other call and ask them to call back later, then continue your conversation with the first caller.
The phrase, give you a call, means to give you a phone call, or in other words to phone you.
It depends on the provider you use. Verizon, TechMaster Telecom, Sprint, and Alltel generally do. T-Mobile and Cingular are a bit flaky. This is not accurate. Sprint phones do not receive missed call and neither do Cingular. If the phones are off or have no signal and the person doesn't leave a message you do not receive a missed call alert. However, I've heard that android phone, i.e. HTC EVO, have an app that logs those missed calls.

No, it does not. Only if the phone is switched on will it register a missed call.
When a person misses a phone call on a cell phone, the phone will show all the missed calls. If a land line phone has caller ID, the missed calls will be shown on the caller ID box.
If it is a prank call, I usually don't call back. Any how you can limit incoming calls by having a call screening service offered by phone companies.
It is generally not recommended to call back a missed call from an unknown number. It could be a scam or telemarketing call. If it's important, they will likely leave a voicemail.
its still registered as a missed call
Isn't it One Missed Call
well i am not sure WHO missed the SOS but i do know that the ship that missed it did not receive the SOS because that ship had turned their radio0s off for the night.
It would show up in your phone's call log - as a missed call.
1. Cell phone was not switched on. 2. You didn't answer the phone quickly enough. 3. You decided not to answer the phone at the time.
You can't. The system automatically shows an unanswered incoming call as 'missed' - even if you hang-up before the other person answers.
