yes
The network adapter that you need to connect to your laptop would be the Ethernet or the wireless USB that plugs into your laptop. You can go online and look for some of those products at Wal-Mart.
No, what i did is i took the ethernet cable that came with my xbox, connected it to my laptop, and connected my laptop to the internet via wireless router. The only other way that doesn't involve a wireless adapter for your 360 is to connect your 360 to your computer via an ethernet cable (not sure if you need a router for this but i might as well list it), but the laptop-connect is the "most effecient/cheapest" way, and the adapter-connect is the "best connection/signal" way.
What it means is it cannot find wireless adapter, make sure that you have turn it on.
Is there a router that you can plug a laptop modem into so that I can get internet on my desktop also. The desktop would need ethernet and of course the laptop is usb. So is there a router out there that can do this?
All you need is an ethernet input on your laptop and a ethernet cable. Run the cable from the router output to the laptop input. Most wireless routers also include ethernet outputs in the back of the router. The laptop should discover the connection
Yes you do, you need a internet(ethernet cable).
Firstly, make sure you have a wireless router/modem. The Xbox 360 s, the wireless adapter is built in. For the other Xbox's, you need to buy a wireless adapter. After this, you are ready to sign up for Xbox live.
You need to attach either a Ethernet adapter or a modem to the PS2. The PS2 comes with an integrated Ethernet port.
You need a Wireless adapter, or a ethernet cable connecting to your home router.
Yes. You may need an adapter to plug your laptop into a wall outlet.
No, you don't. Wireless adapter is completely optional. Though, I would recommend getting one so you don't have to run ethernet wire across the room.
