- The wife having the affair may not have been careful enough and accidentally got pregnant.
- The wife may have wanted to get pregnant by her lover in hopes of trapping him.
When the passion and sexual relationship is gone from spouses, and in the case, this woman is starved for love and also wants to fulfill her dreams so she is hoping to achieve this with her lover. She may want a baby and is hoping her lover will marry her and they will live happily ever after. Most women that think this way do not live in the real world and there is a high percentage of male lovers that are not happy about the married woman he is seeing getting pregnant and will often desert her.
