Why would a guy friend suddenly start to ignore you after being totally fine?

Well, you could of done something that hurt his feelings, or offended him in any way. Or maybe he wants to move on. There is also the possibility that he is going through something hard like a parent divorce, family sickness, or something else and doesn't want to share with you, therefore ignoring you. But sometimes, you didn't do anything wrong and he is playing a game with you, which is clearly not a good friend. There are endless possibilities.

You shouldn't do anything to them. Because, the best thing that you can do (and this can be hard) is to rise above their childishness and totally ignore them, they keep being nasty because they know they are bugging you, so the more reaction they get the more they will keep at it. So try to develop your mind to the point you can totally ignore them and they will move on to other person.

If you know why this person is hostile towards you than you can try and fix that problem if it is something you have done. If they are just being mean to be mean, then avoid and ignore them and move on.
