February 3, 2001 Queen of Comedy Sommore Cleared of Drug Conspiracy Charges Female comedian Sommore was found not guilty on all seven counts of drug conspiracy charges yesterday by a Federal Court judge. Sommore, whose real name is Lori Ann Rambough, was indicted in February 2000 and shortly thereafter began a year-long trial in Washington, D.C. The Washington Post reported that she was accused of mailing packages of cocaine from Los Angeles to Washington as part of a drug ring back in 1988 in which she plead innocent. While leaving the court yesterday, the comedian stated, "I am blessed and happy to have been found innocent of all the charges brought against me. I kept my faith and didn't falter.
