Firearms should be allowed because it embraces a U.S. citizen's right to have freedom. For example, some people enjoy handling a firearm for a job, and teaching people interested in physics how the item works. I would NOT call this item a "weapon" outside of a war. I would more likely call it a tool that helps fellow Americans have just another right to use. there are also protection issues in worse parts of the U.S. that someone may require a firearm, especially with the issue about gangs. thank you for taking time to read this answer
