Fatty foods are a necessary part of any diet, however, to many fatty foods can lead to problems such as obesity, increased risk of heart attacks, strokes and many other life threatening illnesses that can be avoided by just changing your diet. It is important that everyone, not just children get a healthy balanced diet and it essential that this is achieved at an early age.

Fats are stored in the body as lipids, these lipids are very useful to the body as they contain high amounts of energy that can be channeled when needed, this is why exercise is also important as the body uses its fat reserves whilst this is happening. It is therefore vitally important that a balanced diet is met with a healthy exercise routine.

Fats are not always visible on children and although many people may seem underweight or normal weight they have dangerous amount of fat reserves surrounding there internal organs, or underneath their muscles, this can lead to diseases like Diabetes or heart disease.

This is why it is important to tackle an unhealthy diet of fatty foods early.
