I have noticed the same thing, as have many other facebook users.
It seems that facebook has changed the settings on timeline universally (for all facebook users), such that events no longer appear on the timeline.
There is speculation that this will be changing.

How do you view events your attending on facebook?
On the home section of your profile( the main page you see when you log on with all the status updates on) Scroll down and there is an event section (this is where it shows your friends birthdays ect) Click on view all and you can look at past and upcoming events.

You cant, it's not possible. Be warned that those links or events or messages on your Facebook saying see who viewed my profile are nothing but hackers' tools...used to hack into your Facebook account and use it for malicious purposes
