The Bible contains references to slavery, but it does not explicitly endorse or condemn it. In biblical times, slavery was a common practice, and the Bible provides guidelines for how slaves should be treated. However, modern interpretations recognize the inherent dignity and equality of all individuals, regardless of their social status.
