Being bored is, essentially, not a bad thing.
Bored is to feel weary; dull; tiresome. Most people dislike being bored, because it means that they have nothing to do, and that they want to be doing something more exciting or that makes them happier. People generally enjoy being out doing something in one way or another, so being bored would just mean that you're not content with what you're currently doing.
