Abstinence is good because you avoid building yourself the habit of lustful thoughts. If you have sex all the time, you are more likely to look at girls with sexual intent. Its not evil because we're all just humans, but if you plan on getting married down the line and "falling in love", it may be easier to focus on the important aspects of a man or woman if you have tried to have sex not be a large factor. Hope this makes sense.
