Water coming down the spout into the drain bucket sticks to the bottom of the spout by surface tension and dribbles over past the edge of the bucket and drips to the bottom of the unit and to the floor. You don't have to open up the unit, take the bucket out and put a o-ring or rubber band around the spout a little past the cut in the bottom of the spout to cut the surface tension.
If it is attached to your furnace, the copper pipe that brings water to the unit and all other parts of the humidifier that water passes through or over become corroded with mineral deposits from the water. Constant maintenance is required to keep the water flowing and not backing up and "leaking" out.
It will lower the latent heat load so the a/c has more sensible capacity, but the cost of running the dehumidifier will negate any energy savings you may be expecting. As a dehumidifier is just a smaller a/c unit with the warm condenser coil downstream of the cooling coil so as not to provide any cooling effect.
There are several free conversion tools which can handle pressure. You could try to ask a popular search engine to do the conversion for you directly or you could visit the unit conversion page on Wikipedia which has a section at the bottom directly you to several free unit conversion tools.
The length of a pair of trousers is usually measured in centimetres, or in inches. The two main measurements are round the waist and the inside leg (measured from the crotch to the bottom of the trouser leg).
Yes Air Conditioning Reduces Humidity. If you have a space AC unit, you will see that there is a containing at the bottom that needs to be emptied when full of water. That water is taken from the air. Causing a dehumidifying effect.
A General Electric dehumidifier uses a sealed unit that does not have any way for you to add Freon to the unit. If you want to add Freon, you have to first install saddle valves to the dehumidifier.
You have to add a valve to the dehumidifier in order to put Freon in a GE dehumidifier. The reason you have to add the valve is because dehumidifiers uses a sealed unit.

Yes, it is necessary to close off the room that the dehumidifier is opperating in. This ensure the unit can function properly.
Omg not a leaking central air unit those are the worst
There are several dehumidifiers that can be integrated into a homes heating system.
For atmospheric condensation liquid, consider using a dehumidifier to collect moisture from the air. A small portable dehumidifier unit can efficiently extract excess water vapor from the air in a confined space, helping to reduce humidity levels indoors.

Make sure the unit is slightly tilted back in the window so it can drain, if the unit is still leaking you may need to remove the unit and cover to clean out the drain it may have a blocked drain.
A dehumidifier would certainly help to remove mildew from your bedroom. I would purchase a 30 to 50 pint unit . Also placing additional units around the house will help to reduce the humidity and build up of mold.
This unit does require water, you can add vapor to the water if you wish.
