Scrooge initially disowns Fred, cutting him of without a penny as he mainly blames Fred for the death in childbirth of his much loved sister Fan. Scrooge is also annoyed by Fred's marrying someone who herself has no money. When the Ghost of Christmas Present takes Scrooge to Fan's bedside he sees himself beg for her life. She falls into a coma as Scrooge sits holding her hand. he glares at the baby as it cries and leaves the room. When he'd gone Fan in a faint voice still speaks to Scrooge, begging him to take care of her son. Scrooge never knew this and breaks down seeing the events. He knows he has let his sister down. In stave 5 Scrooge goes to Fred's home to beg forgiveness for his folly; Fred is of course delighted to see his old uncle and welcomes him to his home for Christmas Dinner.
Coal was expensive then and he didnt want to pay out for heating
your not feeling well
If you want to deal with annoying nephews or neices you should firstly ignore them... that way you wont give them attention and if that doesn't work plan b will be to stay calm with them and not shout but talk in a firm voice!
From what I have seen 90% of the people prefer to stay home than leave the house.
You can politely communicate that you do not want to stay at someone's house by expressing your gratitude for the invitation and explaining that you have other plans or prefer to stay elsewhere. It's important to be honest and respectful in your communication to maintain a positive relationship.
Because they want you to stay and they know you are leaving
that would be your niece or if you want to be fussy then your niece in law!
I think you are referring to Ignorance and Want, the twins introduced to Scrooge by the Ghost of Christmas Present.
A Christmas Carol takes place in London during the early 1840s. The story begins at 3 pm, December 24, in the counting house of Ebenezer Scrooge and Jacob Marley. Marley died seven years ago, but Scrooge has not removed his name from the business sign. It is bitterly cold outside, and in the counting house as well because Scrooge does not want to spend money for heat. His only nephew comes in to wish him a Merry Christmas and to invite him to a Christmas party, but Scrooge refuses the invitation and gets rid of his nephew as quickly as possible.
you tell him that if he wants to be with his kids he'll stay with you . but if he doesnt then he doesnt love you
Scrooge was the lead character. The story was based around him, his past, present and potential life and contained the underlying story of ignorance and want.
Fred is the only son of Scrooge's sister Fran, and his only living relative. Fred makes it clear in "A Christmas Carol" that he wants nothing of his uncle, except for his acceptance of an invitation to dinner. Fred knows that Scrooge is his own worst enemy and renews the invitation every year at Christmas. One of Scrooge's greatest acts of contrition and redemption is to finally accept his nephew's invitation, and make peace with Fred's wife.
