The word "crush" is usually used for pre-teens and teens who do not know how to yet handle a relationship or even their own feelings. So, when they "like" someone, they become crushed from being so overwhelmed by their feelings. I hope this makes sense...
because you don't know how to feel and the person your fantasizing about probably doesn't feel the way you do about you and when you ask they say no then your CRUSHED. therefore its called a crush.but they might feel that way about you! its just an old tale that they don't.its also called that because you get like stressed about how you look and how to act around them and the stress piles up then you get crushed just by thinking about them so much! and believe me its hard dealing with a crush! i have the problem to!
