My 16 year old nephew does that crap too. I think it's just a kid thing. Unlike the answer above me, it has nothing to do with typing one handed. What the heck are you doing that you can't type with two hands? Eating a piece of Pizza or something I can understand every once in a while. But people that do it, do it ALL the time.
