I feel it's a combination of multiple things. 1) Religious indoctrination. When you are raised to believe that a way of life or being is wrong for so long, you accept it as fact. 2) Ignorance. People fear that which they do not understand. Also they are more easily misled to believe blatant lies about homosexuality (see #1) 3) Societal pressure. There is an underlying current in today's society that to not conform to the standard accepted norm is wrong, whether it be homosexuality or any other forms of living for one's own happiness.
No, homosexuality is natural for many people.

They explore homosexuality
Nobody chooses homosexuality. It's something that some people are born with.
Nobody, why disagree?
they disagree
The term "advocating homosexuality" is generally used by people who oppose gay rights. It is the mistaken belief that you can encourage people to be gay, which is impossible.
They are a couple that are accepting of it the episcopals and another one or two that I forgot the names of. But virtually all sects and denominations are against being gay
Because homosexuality doesn't matter and people just don't care about it any more.
Homosexuality isn't something that needs to be treated. It is how some people are born not someto disease. There is no changing it.
The Ngāti Toa are quite accepting of homosexuality, as are most Māori. However it is important to note that some people have adopted the Christian view that homosexuality is a sin.
Homosexuality doesn't have any effect on people nowadays. It never did. It's simply a natural sexual orientation, like any other.
