Erm .. I'm going on a hunch and believing you are talking about MXit relationships?

Virtual relationships seldomely last, and it's not hard to see why, considering you're laying your heart down (or thinking you are) to a person you have never met face to face with .. It's never going to be true love when you haven't met the person you're giving it to. It can develop into true love, but you do not truly know the person you are "in love" with, when they are sitting behind a screen, and you are too ..

"Could it be that in the future they will say, 'A real relationship! Urgh, how horrible,' " she said. "The messiness and squalor of the real world, and the real-time element, might be offset by the more sanitised, two-dimensional reality of Second Life.

"It scares me in one way, and fascinates me in another, in wondering where it will take people. What impact does having a false identity have on your real identity?"
