NEWSFLASH: Lesbians aren't the only people that get tongue piercings. Tongue piercings were originally popular because they increase the pleasure of oral sex. The placement was dependent on whether you would perform sex on a male or female. Nowadays, not everyone gets it for that reason. Its just become one of the more popular piercings.
