Why do guys come fast?

Your question deals with two entirely separate issues.

The first is scientific. Men are primates, closely associated bioligically with chimpanzees, gorillas, etc. Of all the primates, humans are the only one that places an emphasis on monogamous fulfilling relationships (I'll get to that in a second). Primates in the wild develop family structures and social groups, of which the most common is a family structure consisting of one Alpha Male to a large number of females and a few other males in the group. Females in the wild go into "heat," a state in which they are aroused and in which they wish to promulgate the species right now, a state which most if not all of them reach at the same time. (Anyone whose dealt with a large number of human females living together in an enclosed space will regonize this as the "they all have their cycles at the same time" phenomenon). From an evolutionary standpoint Alpha Males which can release their sperm the quickest, and recover the quickest (so they can have sex with the most females and protect their group of females from other males successfully) will eventually have the most children. In the wild female orgasms are ancillary at best. So that's why biologically men orgasm fast.

The second issue is cultural. Men like to brag. And men like to brag most about their penises and their sexual prowess. This of course comes through in our ancient art (fertility statues in ancient cultures generally have enormous penises), but more importantly for us in our modern porn. In modern porn men have gigantic 9-12 inch penises, they go for hours, and they ejaculate on cue (often in slo-mo). So men hear from their brothers, fathers, and porn that they should be able to go for hours and hours. This is of course a fallacy. Let me repeat for emphasis: The idea that men should last for ungodly amounts of time during intercourse is a fallacy. And then there is the whole monogomous relationship thing we came up with a couple thousand years ago (see I told you we'd get back to that). The traditional married couple relationship was and in some cases still built on the notion of the man as "tough, rule-making, decision-making man." Nowhere was making your wife happy in the bedroom part of the deal. But with the rise of the feminist movement that began sometime in the late 19th century and that continues today, men have begun to redefine their relationship with their spouse/partner as one of mutual satisfaction, including the bedroom. And since men like to brag, men who could claim to satisfy both their single, and eventually, their married women look like great guys to other guys. This is the source of the conundrum that confronts us today: Men want to be great partners in bed both to satisfy their partner and to get a leg up on the competition, and yet they feel inadeqaute because their Biology does not allow this.

I'll let you in on a secret: Most women, anywhere from 8 out of 10 to 9 out of 10 of women (depending on the survey) don't care how long their man lasts in bed as long they feel emotionally satisified in the bedroom. That means both cuddling and using foreplay to stimulate your women, guys. For those that really do come too fast (and in most surveys too fast was defined as lasting less than 4-5 minutes and/or being unpleasurable for the woman while it's happening) there are medications that are currently available in Europe which claim to increase the time it takes a man to orgasm (they are awaiting FDA approval in the US).

The simple truth is the vast majority of guys (even if you or they think they do) don't ejaculate too fast. So just friggin relax about it already!
