there are actually four ghosts/spirits that visit scrooge.
1. Jacob Marley
2. Christmas past
3. Christmas present
4. Christmas yet to come
Only Marley visits Scrooge on Christmas Eve. The rest are set to arrive at one am Christmas Morning , the next at one on the next day and the last at the last stroke of 12 on the next
He was scared and unwilling to accompany the spirit. Scrooge's attitude is one of terror when the spirit asks him to take his hand and take off into the sky.

The spirit first took Scrooge to the little town where he spent his childhood, seeing familiar places and faces that stirred up memories from his past.

The Ghost of Christmas Present took Scrooge to various places, including Bob Cratchit's house, where he saw how the Cratchit family celebrated Christmas, and to Fred's, Scrooge's nephew, where he witnessed a joyful Christmas party. The ghost also showed Scrooge the poverty-stricken areas of London, highlighting the contrasts in wealth and living conditions.
Takes him to the Cratchit Family's house, and shows how much Bob Cratchit (the father) will do anything and everything for his family even though he gets paid less. (meaning barley enough food for the whole family). But when Scrooge sees Tiny Tim, his life changes a bit more.
