I have seen 2 scars like this before, both were caused by fights. The 1st was on a 20 something guy who took an uppercut to the chin and bit his lip. The 2nd was a Sgt. in the Army who got sucker punched while trying to take a drink of beer.

Depends on the size of the ring. I had a 14 gauge in my lip and you can not see a scar. on the inside of the lip i can feel where it used to be but small. outside is not seen since i have a goatee but if it does yu can barely see it.
