In 2004 ConnectU sued Mark Zuckerberg for breach of contract by using its source code to independently develop the Facebook social networking platform. The 2008 lawsuit attempted to rescind the settlement amount of the previous case. ConnectU feared Facebook has overrepresented its value and they would not get paid what they were due.
